Amiens Christmas Market School Trips (3 Days)

A school trip to Amiens Christmas Market offers your students a flavour of a vibrant aspect of French life & an opportunity to practise their language skills in real situations. Centred around Amiens' 13th century Gothic Cathedral, the market has more than 140 stalls & is one of the largest in northern France. The evening son et lumière shows the Cathedral’s brightly-coloured facade as it would once have appeared in all its medieval glory. There is also the St Leu Quarter with its many timber-framed medieval buildings & the delightful quayside cafes along the banks of the River Somme.

The trip also includes an afternoon visit to the nearby Somme battlefield (add an extra day to include a full-day battlefield tour). Alternatively, you spend time in the excellent Musée de Picardie or Jules Verne's house.
