Students visit the volcanic landscape of the region with visits to Paris, "Vulcania" & Volvic.  This tour is suitable for Key Stage 3, GCSE & AS/A2 groups.

Typical Five-Day Itinerary via Dover

Day One: Outward Travel

School pick-up (no earlier than 06.00 hours) & travel to Paris via cross-Channnel ferry from Dover. Overnight in Paris

 

Day Two: Paris & Travel to Auvergne

Opportunity for a visit to the Eiffel Tower or for a Seine river cruise. Afternoon travel to accommodation in the Auvergne

 

Day Three: Vulcania & Puy de Dôme

The day is spent exploring the volcanic scenery of the region. Visits include the Vulcania Visitor Centre & the Puy de Dôme (weather permitting). Overnight in the Auvergne

 

Day Four: Volvic & Paris

Morning visit to Volvic. Return travel to Paris in the afternoon. Overnight in Paris

 

Day Five: Return

Depart for Calais with hypermarket visit en-route. Ferry to Dover. Disembark & return to school. Drop-off at 21.00-22.00 hours (approx)
