London Science School trips (1 or 2 Days)

Our London Science school trips offer students the opportunity to visit the Natural History Museum & Science Museum. You can also include time for sight-seeing or add a day to visit ZSL London Zoo. Please ask to speak to one of our team to discuss your requirements.

One-Day Tour (for schools within 120 miles of London)

  • School pick-up (no earlier than 06.00 hours) & travel to London
  • Choose from a range of science-focused venues: Stratford (Three Mills & QE Olympic Park), Science Museum, Natural History Museum, London Zoo, Greenwich (Royal Observatory) or Centre of the Cell.

 

  • Optional activity (e.g. London Eye - see leisure options for other choices available)
  • Return to school with evening drop-off (time dependent on school location)

  • Day 1:  School pick-up (earliest 06.00 hours) & travel to London
  • Choose from a range of science-focused venues: Stratford (Three Mills & QE Olympic Park), Science Museum, Natural History Museum, London Zoo, Greenwich (Royal Observatory) or Centre of the Cell.
  • Check-in at accommodation & evening meal
  • Optional evening activity (see leisure options)
 
  • Day 2:  Further curriculum-related visits from the list on the left
  • Optional activity (e.g. London Eye, ArcelorMittal Orbit, sight-seeing - see leisure options for other choices from one hour to half-day duration)
  • Return to school with evening drop-off (time dependent on school location)

 

Add an Extra Day....

 
  • With an extra day you can include further visits such as Thorpe Park or fun activities or
  • Combine with another department. We have tours for History • Art • RS • Maths • Geography
  • Two nights' half-board accommodation
  • Our advice: Including some fun activities can help you sell the tour to your students especially if there is competition from other subjects

Some of the activities below take a relatively short amount of time (up to an hour). Others require a longer period where it would be best to allocate 2 to 3 hours to get the full value. This purpose-built hostel, opened in 1919, is situated on the South Bank of the Thames in a residential area. It is less than 2 miles from the Tower of London & 3 miles from  St Paul's Cathedral. Canary Wharf & the docklands area is a mile away & the Imperial War Museum & Houses of Parliament are 3 & 4 miles away respectively. Galina has over 25 years' experience in organising school trips for school & youth groups to Paris. We therefore offer the services of your own Tour Administrator who will guide you through each step of the process, from your initial enquiry to your departure & return. 

 

We have developed a number of useful documents that will help you when preparing to launch your tour & with your visit application via the Senior Management or your EVC.

 

Risk assessment advice is available &, once booked, we can provide a helpful guide that can be used to formulate your own tailored risk assessment.
