Our Study Tours
Maths of War which vividly illustrates the dramatic events of the First World War from a mathematical perspective by visiting the key locations & battlefields of the Ypres Salient in Flanders, Belgium.
Maths in Paris including La Villette (City of Science & Industry) & activities at some of Paris' most famous monuments & buildings such as the Eiffel Tower & the Arc de Triomphe.
Your students will investigate a wide range of mathematical concepts in context & will use them to highlight key facts about their history & the urban environment in which they live.The study packs are designed to engage the students at each locality & are accompanied by a curriculum matrix outlining exactly which mathematical elements are covered on each tour & at each location.
