Our Religious Studies school trips to London provides your students with a chance to study the European Holocaust & its impact on the Jewish communities on the continent & in London. The extensive exhibition in the Imperial War Museum covers the whole tragedy of the Shoah and its culmination in the Nazi extermination camps while the Jewish Museum looks at the British context & the experience of one particular victim while also offering the option to meet a survivor of the persecution. This tour is particularly relevant to the study of Judaism at KS3 & KS4; you can tailor your tour to your group's requirements & chosen specification.
The GCSE exam boards’ specifications require students to ‘develop their knowledge and understanding of religious beliefs, teachings and sources of wisdom and authority’ and ‘reflect on and develop their own values, belief, meaning, purpose, truth and their influence on human life’; on a Galina Study Tour all our visits and study materials are designed to ensure that your students not only gain knowledge and understanding of religion and beliefs (AO1) but are also encouraged to evaluate their significance and influence on the world we live in (AO2).
