Humanities School trips to the WWI Battlefields (1 to 3 days)

Galina's Humanities School trips to the WWI battlefields for Key Stage 3 is based around the town of Ypres & provides the ideal environment for learning outside the classroom.  It covers units of work from the History, Religious Studies & English curricula at Key Stage 3, providing an opportunity to study the Great War in a truly cross-curricular way.  It has been designed to provide students with the historical framework within which they can examine the work of different war poets &/or consider the ethical aspects of conflict.

This tour is available as a 1, 2 or 3-day itinerary & can be combined with aspects of our Private Peaceful English Literature trip tour for groups if required.  A sample 3-day itinerary via Dover is illustrated here.  A version of this tour is also available via Hull-Zeebrugge (minimum 3 days) for schools in the north of England & Scotland.  Prices on application.
