• School pick-up (between 06.00 & 08.00 hours, depending on distance from Dover) & travel to Paris via Folkestone or Dover

Day Two:  Disneyland® Paris

• Depart after breakfast
• Travel to Disneyland Paris
• Arrival & check-in with the Disney Performing Arts team
• Meet your Disney Stage Manager for a briefing outlining procedures

• Rehearsal time
• Performance in the park at a designated stage (tbc on the day)
• Remainder of the day spent in the park or try our optional activities

• Evening meal in a Paris restaurant or theme park
• Optional day-time or evening activities (e.g. Seine cruise - see leisure options for other choices)
• Return to accommodation

Day Three:  Return

• Depart after breakfast
• Return to school via Calais

• Hypermarket visit en-route (time permitting)

• Disembark in Dover 
• Evening drop-off at school

Disney® Performing Arts On Stage

The Disney® Performing Arts On Stage experience provides your ensemble with opportunities to:

• develop teamwork & performance discipline

• learn about professional stage management & performance technique

• gain valuable experience performing to an international audience at one of Europe's most high profile venues

Disney Performing Arts On Stage Application Process

Disney require each ensemble who want to perform at the park to complete & submit an application at least 10 weeks & not more than 1 year prior to their requested performance date. If you want to perform in July or August then the application must be made at least 4 months prior to the requested performance date.

Galina will guide you though this process & advise on what exactly is required. The details of the process are outlined below.

What is Required?

You must have a minimum of 20 people in your group, with a minimum of 10 who will be performing. In addition to choirs or instrumental groups, Disney also welcome dance groups & drama performances, or a combination of all three. This may help to increase your group size about the minimum required should your ensemble be smaller than the required 10 performers.

You will need to submit to following to Disney:

- a non-returnable colour photograph of your ensemble in costume or uniform

- a completed application pack

- a recording of your ensemble performing (DVD or CD format - non-returnable)

Galina will collate this information for you & send it to Disney for approval. We will then inform you of their decision as soon as they get in touch so the rest of the tour planning can be finalised.

Disney will evaluate your group to see if they:

• can play & / or sing musically & in tune
• display precision in execution of music & / or movement
• perform with energy & display a sense of stage presence
• present a well-groomed, uniform look

Leisure Options

For many teachers (& their students) a visit to Paris is not only a learning opportunity but also a chance to experience the city. Some of the activities below take a relatively short amount of time (up to an hour). Others require a longer period where it would be best to allocate 2 to 3 hours to get the full value. For more information talk to our Tour Administrators for further details & prices (where applicable).

Free Options

• Coach tour: See the sights of Paris including the Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe & Eiffel Tower. The major sights are illuminated at night

• Arc de Triomphe: The Arc offers one of the best views of Paris & is free for under 18s. The Tomb of France's Unknown Soldier is here

• Notre Dame Cathedral: Visit this great example of French Gothic architecture. You can also take time to explore the Île de la Cité

Budget (approximately £8-£10)

• Seine river cruise: One hour tour with commentary. See the sights including the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Musée d'Orsay & Notre Dame Cathedral.

• Eiffel Tower: Panoramic view including Sacre Coeur, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, La Défense. On a clear day, you can even see Versailles

• Montparnasse Tower: Photograph or sketch the most iconic view of Paris from the observation deck, with the Eiffel Tower at its heart

This hotel is located to the east of Paris in the town of Torcy. It is 30 minutes from the centre of Paris & 20 minutes from Disneyland Paris.

European Campus Ste Thérèse Est

The European Campus Ste Thérèse is a former boarding school set in three hectares of woodland near the town of Ozoir-la-Ferriere, 13 miles to the south-east of Paris. It is 15 minutes away from Disneyland Paris by coach. A security deposit of €250 is payable on arrival & refundable on departure (subject to there being no damage).

• Capacity for 203 students & staff in 57 twin, triple or quad rooms. All rooms are on one floor of the building, split into 2 wings
• Staff in single/twin rooms
• All rooms are en-suite
